Personally I found that 2012 Ashampoo Burning Studio Advanced free edition is superior to the 2013 Ashampoo Burning Studio. In software, this is NOT always true - newer is not always better.Īnyone who has used the completely hopeless Sidekick 99 software after Starfish software was sold will know that the older Sidekick 97 or Sidekick 98 were very much better. And the next year's version would be expected to be better than the current year's version. The implication is that the 2013 version must be an improvement compared to the 2012 version. There is the relentless requirement to come out with something - anything each year.
Perhaps to appeal to a larger new customer base. While that may suit a novice user, it is unsuitable for seasoned computer users.
I find the user interface of 2013 Music Studio overly dumbed-down. The 2013 Music Studio supports these audio formats: FLAC, MP3, OGG, WAV, WMA.
